Help To Plant A Community Orchard!

Incredible Edible North Hampshire is planting a Community Orchard in the Basingstoke War Memorial Park at 12 midday on Sunday 17th March 2013.

You would be most welcome to join in and help!

Once established the fruit produced will be available to the whole community to share. The layout below will give you an idea of how it will look, there are 49 trees in total.

Whether it is digging holes, driving stakes, holding the tree, filling the hole, watering in, spreading the mulch or just giving encouraging support – come along and lend a hand!

For more details email Bob on 07909 541145

Organisations supporting the project include Basingstoke & Deane Borough Council, Shaw Trust, Inspero, Laverstoke Park Farm and Sainsbury's together with Basingstoke Gazette who are running articles on the project

    1. Hi Tim,

Glad to have you join us!

      Though careful with that Adaza!

We tried one a few days back, the soil is quite good and we made faster progress with a fork and spade.

Do you need any further info?

Look forward to meeting you on the day,

      Bob
